Roddy White’s season has been on par with the kind of season the Falcons have had: atypically down and marred by injuries. But last week, White began to get back to normal. After returning to game action in Week 10 against the Seahawks, White was on the field for 55 snaps, 95 percent of the team’s total on offense and he followed that up with 70 snaps last week against the Bucs, 99 percent of the total snaps.
“I think I’m doing pretty good. Last week was a really good test for me. It was 80 degrees and I went out there and played a majority of the snaps,” White said. “I came out feeling pretty good about myself. This week is a short week and we went through a couple of practice sessions, went out there and ran some routes and stuff like that. I’m finally starting to get my wind back and I feel like I can go out there and make some plays.”
White was limited in practice in Week 10 and in Week 11 he was limited except for Friday when he returned to full participation. This week marks the first week of the regular season that White hasn’t appeared on the team’s injury report.
