Here’s a look at the gameday entertainment planned for Monday night’s game against the New York Jets:
Monday’s national anthem will be performed by Disney Channel star and recording artist Zendaya. Her breakout happened when she landed the role of Rocky Blue on Disney’s “Shake It Up.” She became a favorite amongst millions of fans worldwide, going on to star in her first film 2012′s “Frenemies,” a Disney Channel Original Movie. Meanwhile, she’s also appeared on Dancing With The Stars and released her very first book, Between U and Me: How to Rock Your Tween Years with Style and Confidence, in 2013. Zendaya released her self-titled debut full-length album for Hollywood Records this year. Over the course of the album’s eleven tracks, she delivers soulful pop with an urban edge and distinct bounce. Her infectious first single “Replay” was produced by Tiffany Fred and Paul “Phamous” Shelton. The music video garnered more than 4 million YouTube/VEVO views in four days, while the clip reached No. 6 on VEVO overall, besting singles from the likes of Robin Thicke and Katy Perry in terms of views. Legendary Falcons running back Gerald Riggs will be honored during halftime as the ninth player inducted into the team’s Ring of Honor. Riggs was selected by the Falcons as the ninth overall pick in the 1982 NFL Draft out of Arizona State. He was a three-time Pro Bowler in his seven seasons in Atlanta and finished his Falcons career as the franchise’s all-time rushing leader with 6,631 rushing yards.
